Swedish Massage provides for maximum relaxation. It utilizes long strokes, kneading, friction, and shaking motions. It affects the nerves, muscles, glands, and circulation, while promoting health and well being. Swedish Massage is the basis for all western massage techniques.
Deep Tissue Massage is used to release chronic muscle tension through slower strokes and more direct deep pressure or friction applied across the grain of the muscles and with the grain. It does not necessarily require using extremely firm pressure – or going really deep, but is designed to address the needs of multiple layers of tissue and muscle.
D-Wave Massage is a new and unique massage style, created by me, to be the ultimate in relaxation. It is performed with warmed, scented oil, and with minimal draping, to maximize skin contact. Polynesian Massage This massage style combines elements from many forms of relaxation massage, including Lomi Lomi and others, but at the same time is unique unto itself. The massage is more like a dance, as the strokes move rhythmically across your body, sending you into a deep state of relaxation. This massage feels heavenly, and you will dream of a warm South Seas evening.
Hot House Massage is particularly suited to purging the body of toxins, and relaxing you all the way down to the bone. It is done in a very hot room, on a very warm table. Hot oil is used in this Swedish style massage, to penetrate deep into muscle tissues. After the 60 or 90-minute massage, you are wrapped in warm blankets for 30 minutes.
Sports Massage helps athletes, from professionals to “weekend warriors”, in their training regimen, to increase flexibility, relieve muscle soreness, and recover more quickly. Done regularly, Sports Massage helps produce better athletic performance, and aids in the prevention of injuries. This type of massage is best when done over multiple sessions.
